Hey Nat - always been curious why author's don't sell books directly? Is it just too much of a headache?

You often can't do it easily if you have a traditional publishing deal.

Then for self-publishing you have a lot of shipping logistics to deal with... but I'm planning on doing it for Husk!

The big benefit of selling directly is that I can do a one-price bundle for paperback + kindle + audiobook which I can't do on Amazon.

From what I’ve seen breaking through to that 10-15 a day is quite a big deal for long term books sales and giving you a shot at big upsides so I think you’re spot on with that analysis.

Btw you can presale audiobooks but you need to email audible for a shot. Might be worth an email.
