From what I’ve seen breaking through to that 10-15 a day is quite a big deal for long term books sales and giving you a shot at big upsides so I think you’re spot on with that analysis.
Btw you can presale audiobooks but you need to email audible for a shot. Might be worth an email.
Thanks for the update Nat. Been following your work for a while (and even taken a lot of inspiration in terms of my personal writing) and really appreciate the insights on your writing journey. Looking forward to seeing more blogs!
Awesome update. Congrats on all the success. Excited about your work on Husk and the addl books. Very interested to hear how it works out with Scribe. Fired up for Between Drafts pod, great title. You and Nathan are both class in how you share your learnings.
Hey Nat - always been curious why author's don't sell books directly? Is it just too much of a headache?
You often can't do it easily if you have a traditional publishing deal.
Then for self-publishing you have a lot of shipping logistics to deal with... but I'm planning on doing it for Husk!
The big benefit of selling directly is that I can do a one-price bundle for paperback + kindle + audiobook which I can't do on Amazon.
Awesome, thanks for the response.

Now you have a course to promote 😅
I know it’s not magic, but your output never ceases to amaze me, Nathan. Thanks for demonstrating what’s possible. Best with Scribe.
