+1 on the process, but more so from the research to the outline. I'd love to know how you knew what you were going to talk about, got the source material and stories for reference, and then how you organized all of that material into a cohesive narrative. I think this is one of the most abstract pieces of the book writing process to people, but I feel it's rarely talked about in favor of an author's daily word count.

+1 to sharing more about the process. I admire your ability to deconstruct complex process/events in thoughtful and interesting ways -- I'm sure this adventure will not disappoint!

Definitely share more about the process! Book writing is such a daunting process (both creatively and logistically), so I think many of us would appreciate you breaking down the components (practically and psychologically). Or simply put - share whatever aspects you think are interesting and could empower others who also want to write a book.

Congratulations Nat! I’d be curious to read about how you went about organizing the ideas in your book on such a complicated topic, and went about writing each chapter. I remember a tweet of yours showing an excel spreadsheet with some word counts, and would be totally interested to read more along those lines of your creative process.

Crypto currency is an absolute nightmare for our environment, we need a different solution unfortunately.

Sounds really interesting! It would be cool if the book became a movie or TV series

+1 would love to hear about the process of going from “I’m gonna write about crypto” to figuring out what stories or elements are necessary for that book, then organising them in a way that makes sense, then researching them, building a writing system (daily word counts?), interviewing people etc

Also how and why you choose the publisher you chose? why does it take a year to get a book published? Did you consider any alternatives?

Nate: I would enjoy hearing more about all aspects of your book. I wrote my first as a teen and several more that are still in print, but that was all well over a decade ago. As anyone connected to it knows, the industry has changed phenomenally over this period. To me, these changes in media, especially enigmatic categories such as printed books, are not only fascinating in and of themselves, but they reveal something about society. Knowing you, I'm sure you can/will find a way to divulge these updates as "interesting" to most people, even those who have no personal connection to the process of writing and publishing. So, yes, by all means, please keep the updates coming. Congratulations, by the way. Your book sounds fascinating (and fun to write!).

Definitely more about the book. Crypto always seemed like a black box to me, and a beginner's guide to understanding how it works would be helpful. Can't wait for your book.
